Aliens: Labyrinth - A Quick Review

Read this fine story last night. The art style was definitely good and a pleasant change from the usual. The story was indeed interesting, albeit quite weird, especially when Dr. Church tells his back story. I never would have thought the aliens would grow weaker over time. I always assumed they would simply go into hibernation (in fact they mentioned that sort of thing within this very comic). But for some reason they kept working. Nevertheless it was interesting watching them grow sickly.

I confess I would LOVE if the stories primarily revolved around Colonial Marines with a little bit about scientists thrown in here or there. To relive Alien and Aliens with new characters and alterations to the stories again and again could prove either fascinating or quickly tiring. That all depends on how talented the story tellers are. It would take profoundly talented people to tell fascinating stories that aren't radically different from one another because it's those differences that allow more unique and thus stimulating 'new' events to occur. It's sort of neat to see the scientific research being done provided it doesn't get too outlandish or too obvious that the issue is nothing more than a vehicle for vain philosophies and weird ideas.

Also, wasn't Dr. Church a super strong human augmented with synthetic parts able to lift the Lt. lady up in the air, how was she then so easily able to leap out of the pit, grab Church, and smash his head into a metal railing? That didn't make sense either.

A lot of what this comic series did was good but it still fell short. Had it been more enthralling it would have received a 4 star rating.

We're going to have to give it a 3/5 Stars ***

You can ask Him questions at a website I'm still constructing - www.HeHasAnswers.com - and even read what I've written thus far regarding the irrefutable evidence of His existence (or LISTEN to a rough recording of that at my ministry YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCofXyXv8UBESJs08cg5OICA)

God bless you and good night!
