All My Movie Ratings... for the last several years

Years ago when I realized how precious time was I decided to rate the films I watched so I could remind myself of whether or not something was really worth watching more than once. This alphabetized list will display from least worthwhile to most worthwhile the movies I have rated during this last eight or so years. I'll be updating this list as I go. If for whatever reason you want to look into a movie deeper and possibly buy it (even the garbage-ones) every video title will also serve as a link (possibly even to my review!).

Please understand, 'Viewer's Discretion is Advised.' I'm fairly selective with what I watch - I try my best to avoid any outright demonic movies that glorify and focus on the occult (although many who review these titles might be quick to tell you I'm watching movies with hidden meanings or symbolism that point to the satanic, and to some extent I'd agree, but I'm talking about the really obvious stuff... which is why I nearly never watch "horror" movies). I also don't go out hoping to view movies filled with sex and nudity - I actually try to avoid those if I can.

Mostly I enjoy movies that have redemptive qualities to them, especially when the stories themselves revolve around redemption. I also enjoy films about grace and mercy as well as justice (even hard justice). Although there ARE nuances in the world, I oppose situational ethics and I like my good guys 'good', based on integrity and of a character I would aspire to emulate.

I think I've said enough so I'll just let the list and the ratings do the talking....

...and PLEASE, I'd LOVE TO HEAR YOUR OPINIONS, so leave a comment :)

(the following films were just dreadful and brutal to even get through; little to nothing redemptive about them whether it be just how poorly the story was told, or how unrelatable I found the protagonist, or there was just too much repulsive within it that the audience is supposed to approve of, or something else)

(FINALLY, we've arrived! Please note, the viewer's discretion is advised regarding whether or not to watch these films; all of them for one reason or another were worth watching again, perhaps due to how incredibly enticing they were visually, or by the expert telling of the story, or perhaps because the characters were so endearing or the events of the story were so inspiring or uplifting, even in spite of aspects of it being unsettling, yet due to one detail or another the film is not quite perfect - but four stars is literally listed in my journal as "Worth Watching Again," so for some reason I would want to share it with another person... yet a few I wouldn't watch again for moral reasons although I felt they accomplished what they set out to do so well that they made it into this ranking)

***** == !!!FIVE STAR FILMS!!! ==

(This, dear friends, is the list of the movies that I think are as close to perfect in their delivery and execution as possible, or simply so powerful and moving and important for a person to see that I have listed them here - yes, not every movie here is one I am saying you must see, but those that I WOULD, they are well written, well directed, and most importantly, encapsulate and reflect the goodness and the character of God, especially in their deliverance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and such films will hopefully bring you to tears as they penetrate your very being and pierce your eternal spirit, bringing you humbly to the throne of God asking to know Him and follow Him and receive His unfathomable love)

There you have it! I hope you enjoy :)

Thanks all for stopping by. Feel free to follow me on Twitch.tv to see more geeky goodness!

Past VODs are all at my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbnAX_Ux0w_WDU1ZqZjkMeg

And I also hope your conscience towards God has been stirred. You can ask Him questions at a website I'm still constructing - www.HeHasAnswers.com - and even read what I've written thus far regarding the irrefutable evidence of His existence (or LISTEN to a rough recording of that at my ministry YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCofXyXv8UBESJs08cg5OICA)

God bless you and good night!
